Aoife Ryan – APC Faculty
Aoife Ryan a Lecturer in the School of Food & Nutritional Sciences, University College Cork. She has a BSc in Human Nutrition & Dietetics from Trinity College Dublin/Dublin Institute of Technology and a PhD in Nutrition from the Department of Surgery, Trinity College Dublin. She was Associate Professor of Nutrition at New York University before taking up her position in UCC. Her research interests include obesity and metabolic syndrome as a risk factor for cancer and modulation of the immune system and inflammation by nutritional means.
