Q-TOF Mass Spec Platform

The UCC Q-TOF/MS (Quadrupole-Time-Of-Flight/Mass Spectrometer) is state of the art analytical instrumentation (Xevo G2) that supports research in the APC Microbiome Institute, across UCC and externally, as it is capable of performing a variety of sensitive and specific applications in separation science.

Applications include; proteomics and other biologicals, metabolomics, impurities/degradations, toxicology, water/pesticides analysis, clinical: therapeutic drug monitoring and compound discovery. Interested parties should arrange to discuss their projects with the Q-TOF/MS research support officer, Dr Daniel O’Driscoll.
