Executive Management Group
A large part of the APC’s success is due to the frequent meetings of the Executive Management Group (EMG) which meets weekly every Friday morning. This frequency, and the presence of senior management from both UCC and Teagasc, ensures that APC management can respond quickly to any opportunities or issues and facilitates rapid decision-making. The current composition of the EMG is –
- Prof. Paul Ross – Chair (APC Director)
- Dr. Paul Cotter – APC PI
- Prof John Cryan – APC PI
- Dr Cormac Gahan– APC PI
- Prof. Colin Hill – APC PI
- Prof Paul O’Toole – APC PI
- Prof Catherine Stanton – APC PI
- Prof Douwe van Sinderen – APC PI
- Dr Sally Cudmore – APC General Manager
Dr. Brendan Curran (APC IP Co-ordinator), Dr Susan Rafferty-McArdle (APC Operations Manager), Dr Jill Haynes (H2020 Grants Manager) and Dr Catherine Buckley (APC EPE Manager) also attend these weekly meetings. Ms. Mary Hough/Ms Deirdre Ryan (APC Financial Administrators) attend when required to provide financial updates. The independent investigators from each of the Spokes and Technology Platforms also report to the EMG on a rotating basis. Other individuals are invited to the meeting as required, e.g. industry representatives, new UCC PIs etc.
